Enhancements include the implementation of partitioning based on turn points. Layouts now handle nonmonotonically referenced data and separate line color and fill attributes can be displayed. Enhanced interactive picking with modeling generates initial picks for easier interpretation.

GeoSteer™
Use GeoSteer to generate curtains in Geolog from surfaces and wellpaths imported from external applications. Visualize 3D models and wellpath views. Display multiple wells in plan views in wellpath view. Paradigm’s OpsLink module provides a WITSML feed which enables geosteer models to be refreshed in real-time. Final results can be exported as updated surface intersections to 3rd party applications.

FEFLOW is a professional software package for modeling fluid flow and transport of dissolved constituents and/or heat transport processes in the subsurface.

FEFLOW contains pre- and post processing functionality and an efficient simulation engine. A user-friendly graphical interface provides easy access to the extensive modeling options.
FEFLOW - in contrast to some of the competing products - is not a graphical front end for a separately developed simulation kernel. It is a completely integrated system from simulation engine to graphical user interface. It includes a public programming interface for user code.

Lambda Research Corp.'s TracePro 5.0, the latest version of its software for optical modeling, design and analysis, features new capabilities including enhanced light source modeling, the company said.

TracePro 5.0 gives users the ability to combine multiple light sources with various wavelength spectrums in one TracePro model and analyze numerous light source interactions in the same ray trace. In addition, a user-defined, customized surface source database can be built using the software, Lambda Research said. For example, TracePro's new surface source property editor allows the user to specify light source behavior dependant on specific wavelength, temperature and emission angle.
